After extensive experience as Registered Managers and Responsible Individuals within the Residential Childcare sector, and consistent dealings with Social Care recruitment agencies, it was abundantly clear that an agency with a deep-rooted knowledge of the regulations and the intricacies of sector could be crucial in.

As a qualified residential senior leader with over a decade in the residential social care children’s sector, James has an excellent track record leading homes to receive Good and Outstanding Ofsted judgments under his direction. James has used his first-hand experience to recognise the shortfalls in temporary staffing and the level of quality that is delivered across the sector. James has recognised providers’ poor experiences in the sector and shaped this to introduce a culture that delivers excellent practice in children’s homes whereby our childcare workers can feel invested in children’s futures and outcomes. JM Workforce Services directorship takes pride in their approach and believes that outstanding care is imperative for the children our staff care for.

Pat is one of two Directors at JM Workforce Services. Pat has dedicated his career to working with children and young people with EBD, learning difficulties, and complex needs for over 10 years. He started in child secure settings and moved to children’s homes. Pat is a qualified leader in the residential sector and has managed multiple children’s homes up to a senior level with a proven track record. In 2021, Pat won the National Children & Young People’s Award for Best Children’s Home Manager of Central UK. In 2022, he and his brother James launched JM Workforce Services, combining their passion for the childcare sector. Pat’s aim is to be the most trusted and reliable social care agency in children’s services.

A fun fact: she once skydived for charity to raise money for ADAPT, a charity supporting premature and poorly babies.
